Inappropriate

Mister to the t.v. set as we watch Sunday morning political shows:
"He's a bona fide idiot."

Pants, in a rather stern tone, dressing down her daddy upon hearing this proclamation:
"That's not a nice word and inappropriate."

Mister trying very hard not to smirk (I've dissolved into full blown giggles):
"You're right. Can I just call him a dumb bunny instead?"

Pants nodding solemnly:
"Yes."

Apparently all my conversations about "Even though we don't vote that way, we still have to be respectful" are paying off. I just didn't think the dividends would pay off so close to home.
